History

Back in 2014, our team of veteran and local brewers dreamed of opening a microbrewery in the High Desert.  With several award-winning beers to our name, we set out to make that dream a reality.

But as we all know, reality isn’t always so kind.

We faced several bureaucratic and business challenges along the way, but our scrappy team prevailed and successfully overcame one obstacle after another.  In 2019, five years after beginning our journey, we tasted sweet victory when we finally acquired our brewery license.  In 2020 we hit another milestone as we opened our doors on Friday nights.  With the onset of Covid, the team adapted again and launched our Friday and Saturday drive-thru service!

In the end, they say that which does not kill you, will only make you stronger.  The Joshua Tree Brewery will only be stronger when later this year our opening hours will be expanded to full-time.  Our team is excited to share our love of artisanal, small-batch beer into an exceptional experience for both locals and tourists alike.
